After a 45 minute delay the match finaly got under way, in perfect condition the first 15 minutes where even with Teesside having the best chance, in a breakaway that forced a very good save from Kyle Klein in the Seaton Goal. The Teesside centre forward was causing a few problems the the middle of Seaton's defence, until they sorted themselves out, This gave Teesside their first goal with the centre backs getting caught out, Teesside's number 9 ran through the defence and finished well. Ryan Bailey and James Hewitson from then on had faultless games it must have been the kick up the backside they needed. Seaton then started to apply some pressure which led to the Ryan Ashby getting fouled and the referee deemed it to be in the box and awarded the penalty, Ryan Bailey came forward to take the kick and although the keeper got a good touch it squirmed under his body, 1-1, Seaton where becoming stronger and stronger, and Bailey nearly got his second from a superb Ryan Ashby corner, the Teesside keeper (their best player) took it off Ryan Bailey's head to prevent a certain goal. So the first half ended level,
The second half was all Seaton and Matty Mortimer came close with his bullett headed just going over after a fantastic run that deserved a goal. Bradley Roberts was having a superb game in the middle and never stopped battling all game. It has to be said at this point Seaton had 7 or 8 chances that should have brought goals, but struggled with the final ball. Then David Wilson passed to Beefy Hammond in the box for Hammond to make no mistake for Seatons second goal. Wilson then scored a further goal, to give Seaton some breathing space, although it was all seaton at this point Teesside got a well worked goal and a super finish seen a long range effort blast into the Seaton net from just outside the box. 2-3 to Seaton and a nervous last 10 minutes got under way, The David Wilson scored another goal to give Seaton back some breathing space, and thats how it finished 2-4 victory to Seaton, Well done boys we needed the points today and went out and grabbed them Best for Seaton Bradley Roberts (Never stopped working) Bailey and Hewy at the back (eventualy) Liam Wright, and Matty Mort. but well done to all now lets build on it.
