Hi, I'm David Light, I spent the first nine 
years of my career with the Royal Corps 
of Transport. I was taught by the very
best instructors and my training included
all different types of vehicles from busses
to heavy goods vehicles and also smaller
vehicles such as the cars I now teach in
today. Therefore i was taught to a very
high standard which i have always 
maintained. I teach people quality 
lessons, not quantity lessons and my aim
is to teach people to drive safely for life. 
The use of quality not quantity lessons 
saves my pupils money as less learning 
time means less costs. Over the years I 
have always looked for ways to improve the way i teach lessons to make them more effective for my students, I have done this by developing a range of highly effective teaching aids that help me to reduce the time spent teaching basic car control to my students. I am the only driving instructor who uses these aids as I developed them myself and I find that these aids take away the conscious effort of thinking about vehicle control, this in turn drastically reduces the overall learning time.
I always have a great delight in starting with new learners which I always try to make as enjoyable, relaxing, and fun as possible. I can pick you up from home, school, work or any place of choice and the first lesson is always in a quiet area. 
Whilst learning to drive you may well choose to practice with a family member, this is perfectly fine but I do ask that you have at least two good lessons with an instructor so as to encourage some good habits. I also offer refresher courses for family and friends who wish to polish up their driving skills before taking you out to learn.
