Biography
|
Graham Winter entered the Shaftesbury FC boosom in 2002, like so many others, as a foot soldier. His rapid rise to the club committee has been astounding.
Winter's first promotion came a year later when Matt Williamson promoted him to no.2. Winter relished the power he now had, and became a regular face in League meetings and team selection meets.
In 2005/06 Winter took up position of Treasurer, always one to keep a tight hand on the purse-strings, Winter clashed with the board when the team were about to break their transgfer record for Michael Stranks. Winter prevailed, and this season saw him climb the ladder again as County Secretary.
