Shamblers Veterans over 35,are the most successful veterans team in Stoke-On-Trent.
With a wealth of experience and players who have looked after themselves, the Vet's are a very tough team to beat.
Manager Tom Hanly has "from the 150 or so players that he signs every year" Only joking Tom.

Shamblers were one of the original members of the PDSL Vets League in 2004. The team went on to win the league, league cup & Tom Leese Trophy in 2004-05 & 2005-06 before withdrawing from the Vets league & playing in open age football for 2006-07. Realising that age was catching up with most of the players we have re-entered the PDSL Vets League & entered the Umbro O-40's for the first time.2007-08 PDSL Vets Champions, League Cup Winners.

2008-09 Shamblers Vets retained the PDSL Vets League
& Cup and also went on to win the Umbro Over 40 National Championship defeating Arnold Town 2-0 at Rushden & Diamonds.

2009-10, Shamblers Vets had another successful season retaining both the PDSL Vets League title for the fith time in six years & also retaining the Umbro Over 40 National Championship by beating Mortimer (Reading) 3-0 in a dominant performance. Unfortunately the team lost 1-0 in the final of the PDSL Vets Cup after having keeper Holmes sent off in the 1st half.
