shildon played their second pre season game and won 7-3, the squad was done to just twelve with a trialist goalkeeper starting and Jimmy Farrell being the only player on the bench. missing were, Tinkler, Byrne, Brumwell, Gowland,Clarke,Everitt, Ord, Moore, Richmond and goalkeeper Keith Finch,
shildon started slowly but took the lead through Chapman, crook equalised before shildon took control and went 4-1 up. just on half time crook pulled a goal back making it 4-2 at half time. Shildon started brightly in second half taking advantage of the changes made by Crook and soon led 6-2. both teams scored again in the last five minutes.
shildon now play away to esh winning on Tuesday night
