Shorwell are now the longest serving team in the Isle of Wight Sunday League. Shorwell Football Club was formed in 1972 a year later Shorwell Youth was formed. In the early 1990's Shorwell Youth and Shorwell F.C. were amalgamated to become Shorwell United F.C.
Shorwell United are now playing in the Isle of Wight Sunday Division 1
