JMF COACHING SUMMER SCHOOL

Slade Green F.C. are pleased to reccomend the JMF COACHING SUMMER SCHOOL. These Summer Courses will be run on a 3 day basis, starting at 10.00 am and ending at 3.00 pm. They will be open to all year groups (Reception to Year 6). During the course, JMF Coaching staff will be devoting the mornings to fun and factual coaching where children will be coached in small groups based on age and ability with the afternoon being based on tournaments and fun competitions.

Each child who attends the course will receive an official JMF Coaching certificate of attendance, with medals being awarded to Tournament winners. There will also be special achievement awards handed out to children whose coaches believe to have excelled during the course.

GREEN HANDED HOME DRAWS IN EARLY ROUNDS OF FA COMPETITIONS
Green have been handed home draws in the early round of both the FA Cup and FA Vase. Green face an all Kent League affair in the extra preliminary round of the Cup hosting Faversham Town. Meanwhile in the Vase Green will entertain Combined Counties League outfit Frimley Green. If we overcome Faversham a trip to Merstham(Combined Counties) will follow in the next round while victory over Frimley would earn us a trip to Sussex league side Pagham.

GREEN INTRODUCE YOUTH ACADEMY
Green Boss Martin Ford has confirmed that The Green will be entering at least two side’s into the Charlton Athletic Valley Express Kent Youth League next season. Green have formed both an Under 13 and Under 14 side and are also likely to SUBMIT an Under 18 team into the league.

GREEN TO MEET DERES IN LEAGUE CUP
Green will face local neighbours Erith & Belvedere in the first round of the BULMERS Cider Kent League Cup following last weeks draw at the Kent League AGM. The dates for the two legged tie have yet to be set.

DATE SET FOR CHOPPER TROPHY
The second Chopper Harris Cup match between The Green and Thamesmead will take place at The Small Glen on Tuesday 28th July. The Trophy which was incepted last season in memory of the late Neil Chopper Harris who played for both The Green and The Mead. The inaugural match last season was won by Thamesmead. Thamesmead are one of three Ryman League sides that Martin Ford's side will meet in pre season along with Tonbridge and Ramsgate. Other matches see the visit to The Small Glen of Sussex County League side Newhaven and reigning Kent County League Champions Hollands & Blair
