History

The story so far...
27 Mar 2006

The club was set up in 1921 by a group of choir boys from St Laurences Church in Upton Court & have never strayed from their home at Lascelles Park.

In their trophy cabinet proudly stand the Bucks & Berks District County Cup and the East Berkshire Division winners both won in the 1980's.

Recent success has been hard to come by with players constantly coming & going over the years.

Now Laurencians occupy division 1 of the East Berkshire league and enjoy a young settled side with great hopes of future success.

All time top goal scorer Bob Hill recently retired but his legend lives on and his place in the club's history is firmly sealed.

The Laurencians have had various sponsers over the past years but are now sponsored by The Victoria pub in Farnham Common.

Due to the volume of players there is also a reserve team that play in division 4.

2010, a coming of age
17 May 2010

Following a long overdue promotion from the East Berks second tier, narrowly missing out on the Division One title to rivals Burnham Utd in 2008/09, Laurencians reach the Premier Division for the very first time.

The debut season in the top league would prove to be a roaring success, defying the doubters who had the team nailed on for relegation, Slough amassed point after point, eventually finishing a superb fourth and only denied 2nd place by a final day defeat to Slough Heating.

In the cup competitions, further joy and progression was found as not only did the team reach the Slough Town Senior Cup Final but also the League Cup Final. Eventually beaten in both finals, it showed a huge leap forward in the club's stature and surely paves the way for trophies in the near future with succh a young, talented squad.
