Smiths Wood Boys F.C are a community based organisation that endeavour to provide young boys within the Smiths Wood catchment area the opportunity to play competitive football.

Our aim is to teach our players to learn and appreciate the values of being part of a team and the importance of relying on each other to achieve individual goals.

We believe that through sport, great benefits are to be had by all concerned. Our aim is to give our players, wheather it is training, a competitive game or just a friendly kick around, something to look forward to each week.

Players are encouraged to participate at whatever level they can achieve and to appreciate winning and losing are both a part of life and not adapting a win at all cost philosophy.

We encourage sportsmanship and team play and hope that our young players will continue to carry these values through to adult life.

Smiths Wood is a diverse area, our aim is to dismiss racism within our club at all times.

We as a club might not reach "Utopia" but we beilieve we can make a difference.
