Biography

Chris attended Morley High school where he studied GCSE's and A-Levels. He began coaching at the age of 17 for Morley Rugby Club before moving to study Accounting & Finance at the University of Manchester. During his studies, Chris began coaching junior football at Didsbury Juniors FC where he completed his Level 1 and gained an opportunity to coach within local Manchester schools. Chris played for Economics FC during his time at university where he also captained and managed the side. On his return from Manchester, Chris joined the South Leeds set up at Under 9's level before taking the vacant coaching role at Under 11's, whilst playing for the Yorkshire Bank in the Old Boy's League. Chris was influential in setting up the Senior team from scratch and was the first SLS Senior team captain.
