Having finished the 2007/08 season second bottom of Division 3, the 1st team were relegated to Division 4.

2008/09 ended with a 9th place finished but 2009/10 was a struggle, with the team finishing 3rd from bottom with 26 points from 28 games.

Robert "Beano" Bean took over the managerial reins at the start of 2010/11 and his first season in charge ended with the 1st team in 6 place on 43 points.

Beano has again been actively trying to secure new players over the summer to ensure a decent promotion campaign can be sustained in 2011/12.
