Wallers travelled to Hemsby and ground out and excellent 2-2 draw.
Hemsby started strongly and Ben Stone was forced into a couple of top drawer saves during a first 25 minutes dominated by the home side. However, Walsham gradually started to weather the storm and had chances up the other end Joey Siddell hitting the post and Adam Hipperson going close with a shot from the edge of the area.
HT 0-0
The game was even during the 2nd half but it was Hemsby who took the lead through a Joey Sidell own goal. Unfortunately Walsham lost concentration and Hemsby doubled their lead almost immediately.
With 70 minutes gone and 2-0 down against the team top of the division and boasting a 100% record things didn’t look good but there is something about playing the top teams when you are Waller that makes you never give up. Substitute David Snowling burst into the opposition penalty box and was fouled, Adam Hipperson stepped up and smashed the penalty in and the comeback was on.
Robert Bean Dan King upfront and with 2 minutes left found space in the Hemsby box and slotted home a deserved equaliser.
