Our final game of the season saw us take on Jex who have finished runners up in the league and have been promoted. We mixed things up today to give everyone at least 45 mins and let a few players play in more unfamiliar positions. Even so we gave a good account of ourselves yet again despite falling behind in the first minute. Further Jex goals after 15 and 20 minutes saw us go in at half time 3-0 down despite playing some attractive football. Into the second half Jordan fired a shot into the roof of the net to make it 3-1 but jex hit back to restore their 3 goal lead. Dean then followed up a Harry shot to make it 4-2 and then Fraser gave us a glimmer of hope by making it 4-3. Jex again hit back to make it 5-3 and despite some last ditch blocks on shots from Harry and Jamie (twice) the game ended 5-3. 
Once again I was really pleased wth the way that we played and that again we kept going to the end without giving in. 
Every player in the squad should be really proud of the contribution they have made to the team, both at training and at games. 
I am confident we can take this forward into next season and have an even better season. I hope that everyone stays and continues to improve as you all have this season. I hope you have all enjoyed it. Thank you all so much, and your parents, for your support and effort this season.
