Ian Duxbury joined the club at the beginning of the 2010/11 season and quickly established himself as the first choice goalkeeper. He is an excellent all round keeper who is a very good shot stopper and commands his box very well. He is an important member of the squad and is someone who will always say what he feels and inspires those around him to perform to a high standard as he is a born winner, which is what the club needs. He brings a lot of experience to the club after having played in the same league set-up for a few years. He picked up the managers player of the year in 2010/11 after his fine performances didn't go unnoticed. He was quick to sign on for another year and will play a big part in the club moving forward.
