The current squad is comprised mainly from the highly sucessful u-18's side of the 2005/06 season. two years ago the then manager Martin Wilson was invited to join Daz Bradley in running the then senior squad along with Euan Johnson. At the time the team were not performing well, but by the end of the season they had managed a mid table finish. Last season we began the campaign well and up until christmas were in contention. Sadly our form faltered and we finished in seventh place. However we managed to beat the top two sides home and away and reached two semi finals.
The end of the season saw the departure of Martin and the introduction of Clem Dubiln, a former player and former manager of our neighbours Friar Lane who's experience and no nonsense style will take the current crop of young talent to realise their potential.
St Andrews can boast a youth set up second to none in the county hopefully producing the stars of the future, from mini soccer through to the current crop of talent managed by Chris Bone playing this season on wednesday nights in the midweek floodlit league, under our new floodlights which were installed in early August.
