Own Goals (1)

This was the second meeting between these two sides in as many weeks,it started off in tremendous style with both sides giving there all,the breakthrough came around 5 minutes in,a lovely ball put through by Carlton to Lamar who strikes well and scores (1-0),Highfields break into our area with only a great save by Meech who Parry's and Alfie clears to spare our blushes, the Andrews continued to press hard and a great ball in by Jakob to Salty who shoots and gets a deflected goal (o.g) gifted to the Andrews (2-0),Highfield Rangers were all at sea,it wasn't long before more was to come when Salty threaded a ball into lamars path, who shows great determination and speed to get passed his marker and rifle another one in (3-0) great goal, that's how it remained until the half time interval.
Highfield Rangers started the second half with more gusto shown in all of the first half, there efforts were repaid with a great goal (3-1),come on the Andrews wakey wakey....they started to battle and Salty fed Eddie in who shows great composure to lob the advancing keeper and scores a great goal (4-1),the Andrews were pegging Highfields back in there own area for long periods,it was only a matter of time before the inevitable happened again,Jamie plays a cracking ball inside his area to Carlton who tricks his man avoids the covering defender who was coming across and rifles a powerful shot passed the keeper (5-1),the game seemed to be drawing to a close when Salty bent in a lovely corner which was even too good for their keeper who failed to get his hands on it properly(6-1)...great goal Mr Salt...Well done to all the lads for showing lots of Commitment/ Energy and Effort, usually only seen at training, but today they bought it into this game, long may they continue to do so, a great Team Performance...who are you...The Andrews have itttttttttttttttttttttttt ;p
