Bill founded the club in 1972. Originally called the Riffle Butts, they played on Pitch 16 on middleton Street playing fields. Now playing at Canal Street, Old Aylestone, they have some 18 teams with the seniors plying there trade in and around the top of the senior league. St Andrews is now arguably one of the biggest and most respected amateur clubs in the county!
