A time for reflection on the past season......and looking forward to the next one!!!

WANTED - GOALKEEPER!!!

As we look forward to next season, we would like to recruit a regular goalkeeper as this season we've rotated the position amongst the boys.

Wow! Looking back, so much has happened since the start of the season with some great games played and a few spectacular results achieved and even four goals that mysteriously got lost along the way! - thankfully it didn't matter in the end!
The boys have acquitted themselves fantastically both during training and on match days and deservedly won their League.
Next season will prove a stiffer challenge in the Premiership against the other Leagues' top teams but it's one that the boys will positively relish not to mention the old war horses, Mark and Stuart.
Often repeated, but just once more, I would like to express my gratitude to everyone that has helped make this such an enjoyable first season for Mark and I. Thanks, therefore, to the boys and their parents, particularly those that were able to actively assist on match days (you know who you are!), to our sponsors, WCS Contractors and Manser Electrical, to Lee, who refereed most of our games and provided inspirational advice along the way, to Nigel B, the fountain of all knowledge for all my questions and lastly, but by no means leastly, to Mark for his unending enthusiasm, wise counsel on occasions and his calm reaction when he discovered that I'd 'amended' most of his Match Reports!!!
