Performances.

I would like to pass on a few observations re the third teams performances over the past few weeks in the hope that we can improve for the upcoming fixtures.

As a team we are picking up points and seem to be scoring a few goals but we are conceeding way too many. This is not the fault of any one player or the defenders as a unit but the whole team. We do not seem to be able to pass a 4 yard ball to feet, we do not win the first or second ball challenges, there is nowhere near enough communication on the pitch and too many players are having poor performances all round.

Players need to be aware that their place within the team is far from guaranteed. We have an abundance of substitutes on a weekly basis who are desperate to play and we are playing for places. People will be dropped if performances are not up to scratch. Lets get the basics right or we will have an extremely frustrating season. We have a great spirit within the team and we need to recreate that with our football on the pitch.

Lets concentrate on keeping a clean sheet, playing to our strengths with a simple pass, winning our personal battles on the pitch and winning each game that is put in front of us.
