ST Albans Rangers and club coach Mark Simpson netted a double at the Herts FA Charter Standard Awards.
Rangers, founded in 1985, have been named East Region FA Charter Standard Development Club of the Year 2007 and could gain further recognition with a national award as all nine regional winners are considered.
The club provide football for all age groups from Under 6s to Under 18s and also run two adult sides and a strong girls section.
Rangers coach Mark Simpson was named FA Charter Standard Club Coach of the Year for 2007 for Herts and also for the East Region. He is currently club president and manages and coaches sides, as well as leading the club's Community Football Programme and spearheading the development of the girls section.
Mark is an FA Level Two Qualified Coach and is Chairman of the Herts Football Coaches Association. He is also a qualified referee.
