This was a match that St Albans Rangers dominated from start to finish, and deservedly took the lead after 5 minutes with an excellent goal by Jamie Bill. However 2 breakaway goals put Strides in a 2-1 lead. Fortunately an equaliser from Sam Page followed shortly. Jeremy Stace was solid as ever in goal and kept Rangers in the match with a good one on one save. Then Sam Page placed a beautiful goal in the corner of the net to give Rangers a 3 - 2 lead at half time. Fantastic ball control from James McClusky, superb running by Harry Plumb covering defence and mid field, and some superb crosses from Hana Barnett enabled Rangers to score a further 2 goals by Jamie Bill and James McClusky. Strides pulled one back but a further goal by James McClusky gave Rangers a 6-3 win. Harry Parker was very solid in defence and played through an injury for most of the second half. The score line could have been increased if not for the Strides keeper who incredibly kept out a wonderful strike by Hana Barnett. Hana Barnett was awarded player of the match.
