Having lost the home fixture 0-6, Rangers travelled to North London full of new purpose and resolve, fresh from their home victory against Northwood last week. This proved to be an evenly matched contest between an improving Rangers side and second placed Alexandra Park.
The heavy pitch made things difficult for each side with chances going begging at each end. On the half hour Alexandra Park were the first to find a chink in Rangers armour and lead 1-0 at the interval.
Following the re-start, 27mins into the second half, Captain Connor McGrath levelled the score for Rangers. There was a tense few minutes towards the end with Alexandra Park throwing everything forward. Billy Sheed-Davison did well sitting in front of the back four, who once again were immense in defense.
Final Score - Alexandra Park South 1, StAlbans Rangers 1
