TEAM HISTORY
Introduction (24/08/06)

We have been playing in the Watford Friendly League since U9s, taking part in 7-a-side matches for three years before progressing to 11-a-side matches from U12s onwards.

Several of our current players are founder members of the squad from the community football days (U7s/U8s).

U12s (2004/05 season) (24/08/06)

As U12s, we came 3rd in the Purple division of the league (narrowly losing out on promotion), but won the Spring Plate by beating Edson St. Mary's in the final at Sun Postal, Watford. We also hosted boys of a similar age from the Dutch exchange team zsv Zelos, and won the Challenge match between the two sides at Harperbury.

U13s (2005/06 season) (24/08/06)

As U13s, we came 2nd to Oakhill Tigers Sharks in the Purple division of the league, thereby winning promotion. We were also voted Most Sporting Team across all 63 teams in the six divisions of the league. We visited our Dutch exchange club zsv Zelos and narrowly lost the Challenge match 3-2.

U14s (2006/07 season) (02/05/07)

As U14s, we consolidated our position in the Yellow division of the league, and again hosted boys of a similar age from the Dutch exchange team zsv Zelos at the end of the season. We won our own Fun Day tournament (beating the Dutch side 1-0 in the final), but lost the Challenge match between the two sides at Harperbury.

U15s (2007/08 season) (26/05/08)

As U15s, we struggled throughout the year in the restructured Green division of the league, and were unable to record any wins. However, we came 2nd (out of 60 teams) in the Most Sporting Team awards with an average score of 89/100, and won the WFL Invitation Cup by beating Harpenden Eagles in the final at Sun Postal, Watford.

In junior football, should all players be given the same amount of time on the pitch during a game, regardless of ability?
Yes, always. Getting kids involved is the most important thing.
Yes, unless it is an important game.
No. Winning is important at all ages, so the best players should play more often.
