Initially known as Coldharbour Course and founded by Nigel Rodford and Rob Coshell, they joined the Woolwich and District League, Division 1 in time for the 96/97 season. A commitee was set up to help run the club including Gayle Whitby, Martin Robert and Steve Majorski.

In their second season, 1997/98, Coldharbour won the the league sportsmanship award. A change in team name and personnel in 1998/99 saw Rob Coshell leave due to work commitments and a sponsorship deal with the Rochester Way Social Club christened the team as The Rochester Club. They then went on to finish second in the league and were the only team to take points off eventual league champions, Woolwich 90.

However, in the following season, those running the club left due to internal differences and a lack of administration know-how led to the demise of the team.

The club was reformed under the guise of Starks Park Rovers (SPR) by current club secretary and goalkeeper, Nigel Rodford, and moved to the Orpington and Bromley District Sunday Football League. However, the standard of football is far higher and despite initial success, players leaving left the team periously close to folding.

Gallantley, the team have struggled on and signed new players, adding a whole new training structure and building for the future.

2002 saw the team post a record minus goal difference, but improvment in 2003 and 2004 saw the team push for promotion in 2005.

2006/2007 was a good year with the team finishing just outside the promotion places, but this was not built on a return to the re-election positions beckoned.

2009-2010 is a new chapter, with 20 odd new players and a new belief about the club that we are better than previous years. The whole club has been reorganised and a lot of work by Messers Rodford, Gallop, Brosnan and Rasekh has brought the club back up to the level we want it to be at.
