History of St.Barts
06 Oct 2006

St. Bartholomew’s FC was founded in 1995 through the kind patronage of St. Bartholomew’s Parish Church in Streatham.

The club joined the Southern Area Sunday league at the start of the 1996-97 season and played their inaugural campaign at Woodmansterne Playing Fields in Streatham Vale.

Successive promotions in the 1997-98 and 1998-99 seasons saw the club move onwards and upwards and to a new home at Abbotswood Road off Bedford Hill.

Upon reaching the Southern Area Sunday Premier League in 2001, St. Barts relocated to Purley Way and finally managed to secure some silverware in the shape of the Charles Kirsch Memorial Cup in 2002.

The intervening years have seen the club relocate once more, to the Powerleague Pitches in Norbury.

St Barts continue to grow from strength to strength and attract a plethora of new members every year.
