2008 / 2009 Season
A relatively successful season for the Saints first team squad. Whilst the league was always going to be a tall order, a good cup run was Manager Steve Blackfords main goal this season, as well as introducing some of the clubs younger players to the first team set up.
And it was the prestigious Easter Monday Cup that the lads wanted the most, and duely delivered, beating local rivals Cardigan Town 2-1 in the final.
Fourth place in the league was a respectable finish, but more pleasing was taking the scalps of the top three in the final week of the season - Cardigan Town, New Quay and Lampeter, all leaving the School Field with no points.
More imposrtantly for the future of the club, some of the younger members broke in to the team, and will have a huge part to play in future successes, notably Casey Walters and Rich Connolly.
