1993


Originally called Loxley Girls F.C. the club was started by Steve & Sue Odams as an outlet for their triplet daughters, Cheryl, Johanna & Selina & friends, from the Hillsborough area of Sheffield, could play girls football in the Sheffield area.


Nick Name -'The Robyns OF Loxley'


U12's - Joined the Sheffield & District Ladies League


1994


U14's formed.


1995


U16's formed, U14's reached quarterfinals of the Guinness Ironess Tournament in Scunthorpe . They also reached the semi-final of the Pitz Reebok Soccer Cup.


U12's reached the final of the Bassetlaw Tournament and were Leeds City Vixens Tournament Champions. They also reached the quarterfinals in the Pitz Soccer Cup. Played at a special invitation mini-tournament at Arsenal's JVC Centre.


Name changed to Steel City Wanderers Ladies Football Club.

1998


Under 10's, Under 12's, Under 14's & Under 16's, Open Age formed with an ex England Goalkeeper and Ane Jenson a Danish International.


U12's - Yorkshire Electricity Ladies League Division Two Champions.


Team included:- Jenny Salmon, Debbie Sawyer, Donna Krukowski, Krystle Connealy, Katie Hanson (who went to Sheffield United), Kerry Parkin (who went on to play for Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield Inter & Sheffield United), Jodie Bingham, Samantha Brown (Capt.) (who went on to play for Rotherham Town, Sheffield Wednesday & Sheffield & Hallamshire County F.A.) & Samantha Szpajer.


1999


U10's


U12's - Yorkshire Electricity Ladies League - Third in Division One., Runners -up in the League Cup to Leeds United. Sponsored by Pearl Assurance plc.


The following players were selected for the F.A Girls Centre OF Excellence, Jessie Adams, Katie Hanson, Donna Krukowski, Lucy Smith, & Samantha Szpajer


The following played for Sheffield in The Millennium Games, Laura Evans, Leanne Severns, & Lucy Smith,


U16's - Yorkshire Electricity Ladies League - Division Two Champions.


The following players were selected for the F.A. Girls Centre OF Excellence, Loretta Brown, Gemma Cousins, Natalie Daniels, & Leanne Severns.


Open Age - Unison East Midlands Division Two- Runners-up (Promoted) & League Cup Semi-finalists.

U14's - Yorkshire Electricity Ladies League Division Two -Third (Promoted), Chapeltown Boys Tournament-Champions & Runners-up. (Two Teams Entered), Steel City Cup Champions.


The following players were selected for the F.A. Girls Centre OF Excellence,

Open Age - Unison East Midlands Division One - Runners-up (Promoted), League Cup Winners under the managership of Ian Smith.

U16's Four Counties Young Ladies League Division One-Sixth., Steel City Cup - Semi-finalists.


The following players were selected for the F.A. Girls Centre OF Excellence, Grace Adams, Sarah Hancock, Katie Hanson, Donna Krukowski, Hannah Oates & Lucy Smith.


Open Age Unison East Midlands Premier League - Lost several key players & Manager over the summer to Sheffield Wednesday but avoided relegation by two places.

Lost 6 Centre of Excellence players to Sheffield Wednesday and 2 to Rotherham Town

In a League that saw more teams withdraw than were playing finished sixth and were relegated.


The following players were selected for the F.A. Girls Centre OF Excellence, Grace Adams, Katie Hanson, Hannah Oates, Lucy Smith & Sarah Wragg (now Sheffield Wednesday).


The following players were selected to represent Sheffield & Hallamshire County F.A, in The Midlands County Championships, Lucy Smith (4 times), Katie Hanson (3 times),& Hannah Oates (once)


Open Age - Lost two more players to Parkgate Ladies, Team comprised mainly of Under 16's Relegated to Division One.
