1993

Originally called Loxley Girls F.C. the club was started by Steve & Sue Odams as an outlet for their triplet daughters, Cheryl, Johanna & Selina & friends, from the Hillsborough area of Sheffield, could play girls football in the Sheffield area.

Nick Name -'The Robyns of Loxley'

U12's - Joined the Sheffield & District Ladies League

1994

U14's formed.

1995

U16's formed, U14's reached quarterfinals of the Guinness Ironess Tournament in Scunthorpe . They also reached the semi-final of the Pitz Reebok Soccer Cup.

U12's reached the final of the Bassetlaw Tournament and were Leeds City Vixens Tournament Champions. They also reached the quarterfinals in the Pitz Soccer Cup. Played at a special invitation mini-tournament at Arsenal's JVC Centre.

Name changed to Steel City Wanderers Ladies Football Club.

Under 10's, Under 12's, Under 14's & Under 16's, Open Age formed with an ex England Goalkeeper and Ane Jenson a Danish International.

U12's - Yorkshire Electricity Ladies League Division Two Champions.

Team included:- Jenny Salmon (went on to play for Treeton), Debbie Sawyer, Donna Krukowski, Krystle Connealy, Katie Hanson (who went to Sheffield United, then with Rotherham United), Kerry Parkin (who went on to play for Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield Inter & Sheffield United, Rotherham United, then Sheffield FC), Jodie Bingham, Samantha Brown (Capt.) (who went on to play for Rotherham Town, Sheffield Wednesday & Sheffield & Hallamshire County F.A.) & Samantha Szpajer.

1999

U12's - Yorkshire Electricity Ladies League - Third in Division One., Runners -up in the League Cup to Leeds United. Sponsored by Pearl Assurance plc.

Open Age Unison East Midlands Premier League - Lost several key players & Manager over the summer to Sheffield Wednesday but avoided relegation by two places.

In a League that saw more teams withdraw than were playing finished sixth and were relegated.
