After having the most amount of players for a game for a long time (10) vixens started brightly for this fixture on a very hot day. An own goal from a sue stanton corner gave vixens a well deserved lead early on. However after a well timed last ditch tackle by central defender and captain heidi nash saw her end up with soft tissue and muscle damage, vixens were effectively playing with only 9 players. King Sport then scored 3 goals in quick succession just before half time to give them a 3-1 lead at the interval. Along with Nas, Sue stanton then picked up an injury and despite both players staying on the pitch - both out of position, with Nash upfront and Stanton in goal - vixens played the entire second half with what was effectively 8 players. Tiredness and the extra players set in and King Sport finally ended up running away with a 6-1 victory.
