Stevenage Borough Vixens Football Club is a Charter Standard Club that provides football to girls of all ages and abilities from under 10's right through to Ladies.
Even though the girls play competitive football, emphasis is placed upon the fact that the girls should be, first and foremostly, enjoying their past time in a safe and friendly environment. The club operates a zero tolerance programme in respect of all forms of abuse.
All our coaches are qualified to at least Level One and all the club's officials are CRB checked by the FA, as well as having to complete annual child protection checks.
We are also able to offer players the opportunity to take the Sports Leader award programme through Football. The Sports Leaders UK Young Leader Award is a nationally recognised programme and can be used to enhance delivery of the National Curriculum and helps to deliver Leadership Skills by working with others and supports the mix of football and education, giving the girls a head start in their development
We are currently based in Walkern, just a few minutes drive from Stevenage at the Sports and Recreation ground where we have use of pitches, club house and changing facilities.
If you are interested in joining in please contact either the club Secretary or the relevant team Manager directly.
