Report

Last game of the season, could not look better, win go up joint champions, draw promoted as runners up.  To improve the odds even more 2nd place vikings played 2nd to bottom Whaley bridge.  What was not considered was option 3 lose, both the  vikings and whaley  would stay in division 2. 
The game started well the vikings completely dominating.  This was short lived the vikings had a goal ruled offside, Owen was carried of injured.  The rest of the game saw the vikings squandering half a dozen title winning chances.  Whaley weren't in the game, except for a short spell in the second half when their one shot on goal was saved by JP only to be pushed back into the feel of an unchallenged whaley player who scored 1-0.  
It was a bitter blow for the vikings their inability to score costing them promotion and Whaley stayed up.
