The Steels poor run of results continued with a disappointing home defeat to Hillsborough Pumas. The home side enjoyed the lions share of the possession but were unable to convert this tinto goals with Luke Naylor, Carlton Carty and Regan Rooke all going close. Poor defending lead to the opening goal but the Steels soon replied when Harrison Flowers put through Regan Rooke to fire home unfortunately injuring himself in the process. After a delay the game restarted and the Pumas were soon ahead again but this didn't last for long when a Lewis Gillott corner cuased confusion in the box and Harrison Flowers prodded home the equalizer.
The second half was as the first with the Steels having all the possession and creating chance after chance however the Pumas scored two quick goals as the Steels defence backed off them and allowed them to stroll through. A final flurry from the Steels proved fruitless and again they left empty handed after controlling the game and creating numerous chances.
