Stokenchurch Juniors FC was established in 1977 with the aim of providing boys of all ages with the opportunity to play football in a safe and friendly environment.
We play at Stokenchurch Youth and Community Center and currently have around 100 children. Playing at U7's, U8's, U9's, 10’s, U11’s, U12's, U13's, U14's, U15’s and U16's. We play in the South Berks & Bucks Minor football League. Our aims is to increase the number of teams season on season.
We always try to ensure that all of our kids have fun at our training sessions whilst learning and developing football skills.
The club will never turn a child away regardless of their ability.
We will teach all our children the importance of fair play and encourage sportsmanship whilst at the same time promoting a competitive ethos.
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
