Stonecroft ended the season with a fine win over sporting northwood to end the campaign in a creditable fourth place only one point behind third and only losing four games all season. the first half was a slightly sombre affair with both teams rusty from not playing for two weeks but just before the half Stonecroft broke the deadlock when Bryan Strevens grabbed his first slipping the ball past the keeper after tom Radley had played him in.
The second half was a different game and in a fifteen minute spell Stones were four up thanks to Dave Wain notching 2 and Bryan Strevens with his second. It was game over for Sporting and but for some great keeping they would have been buried as Stones tormed forward at every opportunity and Stones stand in keeper Tom Yates not having to make one save. Tom Radley wrapped up the game and a great season for Stonecroft with a fantastic diving header from Tom Radley from Dave Wains corner.
