Report

Stoneywood's last game of the season had them up against Burghmuir at a sunny Webster Park , the visitors were already down . However they stunned their hosts within a minute when indecision in defence allowed the number 10 to control and fire past Henderson.
This gave Stoneywood a boot up the backside and for long periods in the first half they played some good football. Christie had a shot cleared off the line and an Allan header hit the bar as they looked for an equaliser.
The equaliser was not long in coming though when good interplay between Milne and Allan resulted in MCGUIGAN slotting past the keeper.
Stoneywood continued to press and MCGUIGAN notched again when set up by Allan.
Burghmuir then equalised when a hopeful lob was missed by Henderson and ended up in the net.
Mcguigan then brought 2 good saves out of the keeper , before veteran defender MILNE in his last game before moving to Oz , swerved the ball round the goalie to put us 3-2 up.

HT 3-2

The first half was reasonable , th second was terrible . Henderson pulled off 3 excellent Saves as Burghmuir dominated most of the half . They got a deserved equaliser when a left wing cross was headed home by number 10 . Stoneywood's best chances fell to Mcguigan a header narrowly over and a shot on the run which the keeper did well to block.

FT 3-3

A real Jekyll and Hyde performance , results elsewhere maintained our  3rd place finish
