Stourbridge 5 Continental 2
Last game of the season and we knew the CS gang had some very quick and strong players, I think we started poorly and were a bit casual as we had already won the league. But quality corners from Tasha turbo and another quality header from Shannon again started to settle the Stourbridge side. A quality worked free kick from Shannon leaving Becky Jones to hammer the ball into the night. Another corner from Turbo, this time was met by the flying Lauren Gilbert.
HT 3:1
Second half after a little chat, the glass girls played some nice football and pressured the away team, Lauren Armstrong scored off another cross from Turbo. Then Kristie Rogers scored a crisp penalty to make it 5:1, chances come and went and at times it was harder to miss than score but we missed some easy shots. Credit to the CS goalkeeper made some quality saves, then to top it off Chloe missed a penalty which in hind sight Jordan should of took, CS scored a fantastic goal late on but the damage had already been done.
