ABOUT THE TEAM

Suffolk New College Men's Football Club was established in the 1980'S.

The club currently has a First team playing in the British Colleges Sport (BCS) League and Cup competitions. In the 2006-2007 season the team won the South East Essex Cup in addition to the Fete' International 5-a-side competition.

The club is keen to attract players of 16-19 years old and of all abilities to join a rapidly expanding club for the forthcoming 07 – 08 season.

For the 08 - 09 season there is an opportunity for school leavers to gain a qualification at Suffolk New College in addition to playing football to a professional standard. By combining a full-time course with football training on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and playing a match every Wednesday.

What is the best way to settle a cup tie that is level after normal time?
Extra time, then penalties
Straight to penalties
Golden goal extra time, then penalties
Golden goal all the way, removing one player from each team at regular intervals
Extra time, then shootout - players start on halfway and have 15 seconds to shoot
Might as well just toss a coin!
