Sutton Athletic Football Club were formed in 1898 and are one of the oldest clubs in the Kent County League.

The club currently play at The Roaches recreation ground, Parsonage lane, Sutton at Hone and compete in The British Energy Kent County League Division 1 West, after gaining promotion in the 2006/2007 season.

Club Honours include winning both the Kent junior cup and Kent senior cup, with Sutton Athletic being the only ever club to win the senior cup as a junior club.
