Sutton Athletic Club History

Sutton Athletic Football Club were formed in 1898 and are one of a few select clubs in Kent that have been founded for over 100 years.


The club currently play at The Roaches recreation ground, Parsonage lane, Sutton at Hone, located just outside of Dartford. Sutton's 1st team compete in newly formed Kent Invicta League and the Reserve team in The Kent County Reserve Division West.

Sutton Athletic's home strip comprises of green & white striped shirts, green shorts and green socks, this strip has been traditionally worn for over 100 years since the club first formed in 1898.


In more recent years the club has adopted the away kit colours of black and white striped shirts, black shorts and white socks.
