Targets FC were formed in 1994 by Peter Baldock and Wayne & Chris King.Originally called Target Transmissions (after Pete's company)we played in the now defunct Marathon League for a few seasons playing out of the Lord Halsbury Sports Club in Northolt (what a toilet that was!) and Rectory Park (still a toilet but at least it had dresing rooms!). After a few very average seasons and using about 100 players, we went into the Hayes & District league. We lsot our sponsor after Pete sodded off to Denmark (the selfish git) and changed our name to Spanish Armada. Don't laugh, it sounded a good idea at the time. Ok it didn't. Must have been the drugs. After a year of Sponsorship by the Spanish Arch in Belmont we got blown out by them and managed to arrange a good deal with the Shapla restaurant in Eastcote and who we are still with and after last year the RE Bar also in Eastcote. We don't believe in winning cups but pefer to concentrate on the league, trying to fight off relegation (try it, you'll find it's more exciting!)and basically having a laugh. Even after a 7-1 stuffing. You reading this Charlie? Chris Harden - they were all your fault!!
So from now on it's onwards and upwards - Come on Targets!!!!!!!
