THE HISTORY OF THE CLUB |
The Football Club was formed sometime in the 1890’s. During the period up to the outbreak of WWI, the Club became officially registered with the Kent County F.A. Following appeals from central administration of the game, all clubs were asked to register with their County. New rules were applied and clubs found that they had to adhere to the county’s regulations to play in official competitions. During the ensuring hundred years, the Club have entered sides in the Weald of Kent League, Ashford & District League, East Sussex League, Ticehurst League and the Kent Amateur League (now Kent County League) and at times have been very successful.
