Part of the backbone of the Badgers- side since he broke into the first team in May 2008.
The Big Man-s career started in 11-a-side with Briery FC under Jules and Justin Stratton where he played with a young Ben Tillyer.
He joined up with the Badgers sporadically in 2004 unable to shift Matt Dicker and Paul Atkins from the number 1 shirt. As both went on to feature prominently Mason saw an opportunity to make the goalkeeping position his own and rejoined the side ahead of the Pitch Invasion league kick off in May 2008, The Badgers first competitive action in nearly a year.
It proved an inspired signing as he went onto win the players player of the season award in back to back seasons in August and December. He also went on to keep 4 clean sheets in 25 sterling appearances.
A wonderfully athletic shot stopper with a dominant physical presence behind the defence.
The big man was the subject of an approach from old team mates Glenn and Jamie Wallace in April 2009 ahead of the first Prostar Hemel 6-a-side league. Mason was quick to reject the approach deciding to instead concentrate on his Badgers career.
