Biography

Gareth the elder brother of 'no name' joined the club on a Graduate placement from Manchester University.  Phil Strong interviewed Gareth over a pint of Pedigree and was very impressed with his attitude and plans for the club and offered him the job on a permanent basis without hesitation. 

Various members were upset about the appointment as the Marchington Parish magazine printed a story of corruption, making allegations that his dad roger had done a deal with Phil over a Sunday night Dominos game!!

Nonetheless Gareth (who is affectionatley known as Duuuuuck) has taken to it like a duck to water and has written some gripping articles.  Gareth seems to have been taken under Binners wing so to speak and seems to be excelling in his duties. 

The Writer has also become a big fan of the club and even though he has free access to Silver Lane's press box he has purchased a season ticket to be close to the fans!! Gareth's favourite player is Luke Bull and loves to turn up to train with the side just to be close to his hero and likes it even better when he tucks into a Maxwell Balti pie at Silver Lane on matchday!
