The Dragons AFC Football Club is based at St Peter and Paul school Widnes and has provided a safe and secure environment for children to play junior football since 2003. In 2003, the Dragons consisted of one team of under eights, this has now grown into a strong club of fourteen teams ranging from under sixes to open age teams as well as a Soccer Cubs school which caters for children from four to seven.
The Dragons AFC play football in the Halton League and Warrington League.
The club is charter standard but moving towards community charter standard.
