Warrington & District Division 5
The Dragons AFC Under 11's first season affiliated to the Warrington League was a resounding success. Not only did the level of football improve dramatically, the side went on to win the league title by one point - holding off a very determined challange from Culcheth JFC.
A total of 22 games where played, with a return of 16 wins, 3 draws and 3 defeats, 2 of these being cup matches against sides from the higher leagues.
Fergus Harrision finished top scorer with 26 goals, supported well by contributions from Nathan Davenport (22), Luke Purcell (19) and Kieran Hopkins (10).
The season finished with a presentation of a shield, followed the week later with an end of seson function at Goodison Park, where the players all recieved special awards and had a night to remember.......
