The Railway FC were formed in April 1999 by Russ Boam and Chris Saunt and were run from "The Railway Inn" at Gelsmoor Coleorton. We then packed our bags and moved to Ellistown Working Men's club of which Chris Saunt was then appointed manager his first season in charge 2005/06 his team managed 3rd spot finish in division four and gained promtion to div 3. season 2006/07 proved to be the clubs best season in its history making it to two cup finals and winning them both and finishing 3 rd in division three . we are now the proud holders of the bonser cup and the tom onions cup.
The club expects pride when the shirt is warn nothing else matters.
This season has just been a continue of success (07/08) winning division Three with two games remaining chris saunts crazy gang keep marching on.

yes they can they beat measham 2-1 in the final after trailing 1-0 at half time they came out second half and won another cup. season 08/09 has had a lot of ups and downs getting close in the county cup with a good run and in the end finishing 5th on the same points as 4th spot who got promoted , so just missed out on goal dif for promotion, what will 09/10 hold for the number one ellistown team ?
