WOW !! What a game ! We knew from experience that this game would be fast. Saying that our lads did a brilliant job of playing Dersingham at their own game.

The whole team were just "up for it" from the whistle, proving this by Jed scoring an early goal, making us 1 - 0 up. Trouble was, Dersingham were "up for it" too, and picked the pace up and equalised.

On a more positive note, our defenders did a great job, Luke Mattin battling hard, making some superb tackles and reducing Dersingham-s flow. Captain Owen Bell doing a great job of keeping his defence tight.

Half time came and we needed a boost, as dersingham had gone ahead 2 - 1. Paul gave the lads a good half time talk, telling them to believe in themselves and play good football. Dersingham struggle to put passes together on the floor, constantly lobbing aerial balls to their one striker. We knew that if we shut down and marked said striker tight, dersingham would have problems.

Big credit goes out to Matt Terzza and Owen for marking this striker well and after doing so he wasnt involved in the game much at all in the second half.

Midfield played well, Dan Bailey as usual making superb crosses and passes, picking out our front men well. Sam and Jed both like whippets on their respective wings. Olivier battling away and kept very strong. Joe Sadler is on fire and the moment, tackling strong, thinking technically, passing and shooting well.

Dersingham did manage to slip through though, we just relaxed a bit too much, making the score 3 - 1 to them.

Ollie then played a blinder, taking the ball out wide, lobbing it towards the goal and everyone cheered as it veered past their keeper. Score was now 3 - 2 to dersingham.

Matt Ralph came on as sub and looked very determined, he never gave up and it paid off as he scored a very surprising (to him), but well deserved goal. This secured us a draw and I must say one the lads deserved and were proud of . Score ended 3 - 3

I picked the WHOLE team as man of the match as they all deserved a mention .
