Woottons Under 7's Match Reports [30 Jun @ 7:00pm]
Our Under 7's enjoyed their day and would like to say thank you, to all those involed in organising the tournament. The Football played by all the under 7 teams was excellent. The two teams from The Woottons, showed how much they have learnt in the past year, with ,tackling team spirit and fair play on display throughout the day. Our opposition played their part, showing good team play and the same qualities as The Woottons teams in evey game. The referee, who was taking charge for the first time today, put in a fine display
Woottons Under 10's Match Reports [30 Jun @ 6:32pm]
Topps United 2 Woottons 2 Goals from Harry & Matthew secured a 2-2 draw in a game we were always chasing. Reffley 0 Woottons 3 Goasl from Max (2) & Matthew gave us a deserved victory where Luke, Cory & Harry played well in defence along with our new goalkeeper Sean to keep our first clean sheet of the day. Wootton Lions 0 Woottons 1 Max socered from a shot from distance in a very close encounter with our under 9 counterparts, this win was down to some excellent goalkeeping from Sean making 2 1 on 1 saves.. Dersingham 1 Woottons 1 This make or break game ended in a draw with a goal from Matthew as we came from behind Wootton Tigers 0 Woottons 3 A victory in our final game of the day with goasl from Jordan, Matthew & Max. Goal Scores: Max 4 Matthew 4 Jordan 1 Harry 1 After a long hot day we finished runners-up to dersingham with 3 wins & 2 draws. Good displays from Luke, Cory & Sean but the parents player of the day went to Jordan. A special thanks to Michael, Ashton & Frazer for making up a team with the under 9's at short notice.
