Alan Knightly announces retirement

The club can today confirm the retirement of Alan Knightly . Knightly becomes the second player to retire after the bays title winning campain . The Club would like to thanks Alan and wish him well for the future.

Alan Added"To my dear fans and colleagues at Thorney Bay football club. I regretfully announce my retirement from Monday night football. I share many fond memories such as our amazing run to the cup final as runners-up beating Pectel against all odds, winning the cup the next season (in my absence!), matts inability to score ever, Kane's marauding runs from right back to left wing, Rick's 4 yard hat-trick and finally winning the league in style!
