2003 – Carleton Boys Club formed by Bobby Bayne. Team for players born in 1993 begins playing 7-a-side in ‘Fife Soccer Sevens’ at Carleton Park.
2006-2007 – Carleton United 1993’s join the Fife Football Development League as they venture into 11-a-side football. The team finish joint second of Division 2, but lose out on a promotion play-off.
2007-2008 – Finish second once more in Division 2 of the FFDL, and this time the team is promoted.
2008-2009 – Team is invited to join the fledgling youth development structure of Glenrothes Juniors FC and move their home games to Warout Park. Finish in seventh place in the Association of Fife Youth Football Clubs Division 1. Bobby Bayne departs at end of season to take up coaching role at Glenrothes Juniors.
2009-2010 – Ali Winter and Alex Wallace take over as coaches. Young Glens end up in third place in the AFYFC League. The team wins the Summer Cup after defeating Crossford 8-0 at Humbug Park, Crossgates.
2010-2011 - The team join up with Thornton Hibs J.F.C.
